try a nice stroll along by the Port of Palma to the Cathedral. approx. 40 mins

the hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to Palma city centre but buses and taxis are just at the end of the road so very convenient. The hotel is very clean although the sun deck area is in need of a little refurbishment. Staff were friendly and accommodating, rooms fairly basic. Would say good 3* plus.

Top Tip

Take the no 3 bus at the end of the road to the beachy cove at Illetes. Nice restaurants nearby too. Bar Abaco - definately worth a walk round to see the feted displays of fruit & veg but not sure about the €15.00 charge per cocktail... Eduardo's Fish Restaurant - recommended by the travel guides but very ordinary - would spend your money else where. For a steak El Rancho Argentinian was great and generally the local wines are excellent value for money. Take time to sit and watch the world go by at one of the many cafes in the old quarter, great way to spend a spare hour or so and finally - take the train and swim-suit to Soller / Port Soller... probably 1/2 day visit if you're not going to take the sun & waters at Port Soller.

Booked online for El Rancho which was in walking distance - hoped for a great night - it was abyssmal. Food cold / half cooked and no apologies -just the bill for the wine & starters

We spent 5 days with our small child and although everything was satisfactory, the hotel is more geared to business than holiday stays. Very nice and helpful staff and excellent food. Close to the beatiful marina area and a short walk into the city. Plenty of quality restaurants and nightlife in the area.

Great Value for money. We stayed in November and the hotel was busy without being packed.

The location was great for us but for those who want to be nearer the Old Town it is c20 mins walk to the Cathedral

I BOOKED THIS HOTEL FOR MY PARENTS, THEY LOVED THE HOTEL. EXCELLENT SERVICE,GREAT STAFF, BEAUTIFUL ROOM.BE CAREFUL AS MY MOTHER HAD HER HANDBAG SNATCHED WHILST IN A CAFE BAR. BE CAREFUL!!!!! FORTUNATLEY THEY GOT IT BACK THANKS TO MY BRAVE DAD.

Hotel was very close to the old town and main center, about a 20 min walk along the harbour which was very nice. Hotel was basic but very good for the money we paid and the staff were helpful and polite.

Top Tip

There is a chinese restaurant round the corner from the hotel called Men Gu, they do a buffet in the eveining for 7 euros which was lovely.
