Could do with the stair carpets replacing but apart from this minor gripe otherwise an experience I would repeat

Cabilitto de Mar is good on the sea front near La Sau, and Cappuccino cafes great for people watching. Don't pay £40 for a taxi from the airport take the number 1 bus to Tito's on the Passeige Maritime for £1.50 and walk the 10 meters

Tea making facilities would have been welcomed I had a cold and hoarse throat and it would have been nice to have had instant access to a kettle I would also suggest individual sun umbrellas at the sun beds From a location point of view the view was stunning and and the whole atmosphere of the hotel and its staff most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. the concierge service is execellent and because the hotel is some good walking distance from the Cathedral and thereon to the rest of Palma centre I would advise that travellers should preacqaint themselvesd with the layout of Palma and decide if walking , bus or taxi is best option.

For locally priced predinner drinks or watch football matches Taba bar in the street to the rear of the hotel excellent Turn right out of the hotel gates El Pescora tapas bar has great decking area overlooking the Marina Whitebait good The free Bulletin a local English paper provided by the hotel is a very nice and helpful touch there is a handy supermarket directly opposite the entrance to the hotel Again turning right and walking down the street there is a pharmacy perfumerie Chinese restuarant hairdressers and shoe shop among others touristy gift shops and walking past Taba at the end of the street there is a paper shop with international papers A trip to Soller is well recommended Ticket office opens 15mins before each departure but will already be a considerable queue Not sure if you can prebook tickets

Take a tourist bus tour on the first day to get your bearings, the town centre is slightly confusing to work out and one can easily get lost. Tourist office difficult to find with sign posts difficult to follow.Public toilets also very scarce
