The Tryp Palma is located in a maze of one-way streets, well away from the main areas of activity, necessitating many taxi trips. It doesn't have a restaurant and there are not many (any?) within walking distance

Top Tip
If you want a full bathroom, make sure that you have one when checking in, otherwise you may be given a shower room and then have to ask to change

Restaurant can be improved.Lighting and atmosphere poor.Need menu in English.Food needs improving in restaurant, though breakfasts were good.

Rooms well appointed.Room size adequate. Good location only 700mfrom Plaza Major. Dustcart comes around every night at about 0300-noisy! Staff excellent. Breakfast very good. Our only experience of dining at the hotel was on a Sunday evening (most other places are closed) - not much was available from the menu and what there was was mediocre.

Top Tip
Good local restaurant at Celler Saprensa in Plaza Bisbe Berrenguer de Palou (250m). City sightseeing bus is good orientation tour.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Tryp and would go back again! We had a really lovely stay and the staff were friendly and helpful from the onset. Perhaps two little gripes would be the small wardrobe in the bedroom and the breakfast was quite basic for a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless would recommend this hotel if you want to stay in an intimate hotel in the heart of Palma.

Top Tip
Plenty of retail therapy on Calle San Miguel and wonderful street artists. Only a short walk to the train station where you can take a tram to Soller. Would certainly recommend 'Sa Casa Nostra '(a short 4 min walk) and the beautiful 'Cappucino cafe ' on San Miguel.
