saratoga hotel roof top bar ( further along passeo de mallorca) has great live jazz thursday, friday and saturday.

Hotel very comfortable and clean. Our 2nd visit there - and still as good. Only 1 problem - air con wasnt in use - classed as 'winter'- so only heating option in rooms.
Rooms very warm at night. Hotel in great position to visit both old town & new.

We arrived at the hotel - no booking!Fortunately, the hotel reception manager (Alicia)was extremely helpful and found us another hotel nearby - better quality we think - she was very professional and friendly. Top marks for her, bottom marks for justonehotel.

Well placed on edge of old town but rooms quiet. Well appointed with its own cafe.
Comfortable and helpful.
Reasonable price, but Mallorca now quite expensive.
Top Tip
Old town well worth a wander. Good shops open early evening. Cathedral worth a visit. Definitely worth going on the 'old' train from Palma through the mountains to Soller.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Jaime iii and would definitely return. The hotel is in an excellent location and the room was funky, roomy and had a balcony with a pleasant city view. The breakfast was excellent and so was the evening meal, albeit limited. Didn't like the fact that you had to pay to use the safe in your room. I thought for a 4 star hotel this was a bit of a con! The jacuzzi was pleasant but only having 1 lift in such a big hotel is a minus.
