rooms were small and very bare. Desk staff was not helpful, bearing on rude. Self parking only. Internet was slower than dial-up.

the hotel is in great location but the rooms need updating the balcony needs painting and the balcony furniture needs to be replaced

Ideal location, ten minutes walk to the city. Restaurants close by. Spacious well equipped room. UK TV channels. Generous buffet breakfast. Nice bar.

On Bus route 1 from the Airport. Stop almost outside. 2 Euros each!

Though we liked the location and the view over the marina and cathedral, we were disappointed with the choice and quality of the breakfasts. (ie., tasted like dried fruit juices - out of a packet - no tortilla, poor quality hot food, and coffee that was not up to standard. Pity.

Top Tip
If arriving by air (99.9% of visitors will) take the No. 1 Bus from outside the arrivals level. It runs every 15 minutes and travels straight to Plaza d'Espana, and then on via the Paseo Maritimo right in front of the hotel, to the Port. It then turns and retraces its steps to the Airport. A fantastic service. Also, as its a bit of a walk to the Plaza d'Espana, I recommend using that no. 1 bus, as the city centre bound stop is right across the road and costs 1.25 Euro to the City Hub. From there, all the alleys and small streets run in all directions - though generally back to the sea, and it's not an ordeal being lost in such an interesting place, as within 10 minutes you end up on a street you have become familiar with. Great fun. Also, a No. 3 bus from the parallel road "behind" the hotel, takes you to Illetes which is an interesting place and also good for a stroll back via Cala Mayor to Porto Pi, the older part of the port/marina at Palma. Finally, the open topped bus tour of Palma is also recommended. Good Value, and you can get on get off anywhere on it's route when you find an interesting point worth visiting. (such as Pueblo Espana and Bellver Castle) Buen viaje !

Lovely views of the marina especially from the pool terrace in the hotel. Staff extemely helpful and friendly.

Top Tip
Lots of places to see, very handy for the Cathederal and most other attractions, all in reasonable walking distance. Lots of nice restaurants within short walking distance, various price ranges.
