Typical Melia hotel -- good facilities and excellent staff service. Longish but pleasant stroll to city centre. Views of marina, yachts and ferries wonderful.

Our only gripe was that our room was to accommodate 3 people but it wasn't really big enough. However they did find us a slightly larger room (although a smoking one so it did have a tobacco smell) but the staff did all they could to sort out the problem & were very obliging.
All I would say about the hotel is that having seen a few of the bedrooms, they are looking a little tired for a 4 star hotel despite being very clean. Restaurant in hotel was very good and definitely not over priced.
The breakfast selection was incredible and all very tasty.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, well located on the marina with lots of bars and restaurants around. We picked a weekend where the weather was shocking, but that was just bad luck and fortunately there was plenty to do around the hotel and not too far to walk for further entertainment! Easy to walk into the old town

The hotel has a good pool area, fantastic buffet breakfast but the bedrooms are a little dated, The hotel has a good pool area, fantastic buffet breakfast. Try to get a room higher up as the main road outside can be a bit noisy if you want to sit on the balcony

There were 4 nightclubs underneath our room which was on the 5th floor. Even at this height we were awakened in the early hours of every morning, not from any music but by the noise from the patrons of these night clubs.
Top Tip
Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.

Only book harbour facing room or at a push rear facing. Do not accept room overlooking side road and dustbins/bottle bank.
Rooms rather tired and dated.
Breakfast superb in the sun on the terrace with beautiful view.
All staff exceptionel apart from reception - don't be put off
Top Tip
We really enjoyed a ballet at the Auditorium 5mins from Hotel.
